Friday glee has never been to Rocklands

The Friday post of glee is where you get to tell us about your climbing-related happiness this week.

It can be a new achievement or adventure, or just that you climbed and had fun; it can be that your favourite climbing wall is expanding or that you bought new rock shoes or that you found a cool ice-climbing vid on YouTube. No glee is too small -- or too big. Members are encouraged to cheer each other on and share the squee.

Okay, I'm a little short on personal glee this week because I had a freak accident while bouldering and now have a Lisfranc injury in my foot and the prospect of three months off.

Um. Glee because it's possible I might not need surgery? I'll find out on Monday.

I climbed a 6A! OK, so it was a really easy one on a slightly slabby wall that probaby shouldn't have been classified a 6A but it had been annoying me for ages because I couldn't work out the last bit and I did yesterday and it was amazing.

So far I haven't climbed this week at all, which makes me glee-less. But I did find out that one of my old climbing partners wants to climb on Friday mornings! So we're set to start doing that next week. That makes me gleeful.
