Legendary climber and writer John Long has been seriously injured in a ground fall at a gym, which he attributes to failing to finish tying his knot.

The news item links to a donation fund to help cover some of his medical expenses.

Me, I caught someone letting go of the brake line at the gym last night, and scolded her mildly. Thankfully, she thanked me (most young men give me shit for correcting them).
