Friday glee is rocking the knee bars

The Friday post of glee is where you get to tell us about your climbing-related happiness this week.

It can be a new achievement or adventure, or just that you climbed and had fun; it can be that your favourite climbing wall is expanding or that you bought new rock shoes or that you found a cool ice-climbing vid on YouTube. No glee is too small -- or too big. Members are encouraged to cheer each other on and share the squee.

I had a crazy day yesterday, and didn't get a chance to post. I climbed yesterday! I'm still looking for a regular partner - again - but at least I'm getting into the gym once a week and working hard. There's a new 5.8 route that has a heel hook with a mantle. I struggle with the combination of moves, but damn it, I will get it!
