Friday glee is as cold as ice
Feb. 24th, 2012 07:26 amThe Friday post of glee is where you get to tell us about your climbing-related happiness this week.
It can be a new achievement or adventure, or just that you climbed and had fun; it can be that your favourite climbing wall is expanding or that you bought new rock shoes or that you found a cool ice-climbing vid on YouTube. No glee is too small -- or too big. Members are encouraged to cheer each other on and share the squee.
N.B. Please feel free to post your glee on any day of the week; the Friday glee is just to get the ball rolling.
To enhance this week's glee: Ines Papert, ice-climbing on an artificial ice city.

Date: 2012-02-25 11:04 pm (UTC)I just got back from bouldering on real rock for the first time. Which also involved going up a chimney route for the first time. (I did it twice.) That was painful and thrilling, and I totally want to do it again. (Even if every time I got to the top, I had to sit down for a few minutes to let the adrenaline wear off before I could safely down-climb.)
