Friday glee is watching the weather

The Friday post of glee is where you get to tell us about your climbing-related happiness this week.

It can be a new achievement or adventure, or just that you climbed and had fun; it can be that your favourite climbing wall is expanding or that you bought new rock shoes or that you found a cool ice-climbing vid on YouTube. No glee is too small -- or too big.

Members are encouraged to cheer each other on and share the squee.

I don't collect vid bookmarks (mostly because I have to go to a secondary computer to get a flash player), but one of the things I really liked about 5 Islands 5 Climbs is that they managed to give you an idea of quite how tough some of the climbing was (particularly on the roof where bits kept falling off!).

It really did. I need to get that on DVD; it was so good at showing the detail of the climbing and communicating how hard it was.
