The Friday post of glee is where you get to tell us about your climbing-related happiness this week.

It can be a new achievement or adventure, or just that you climbed and had fun; it can be that your favourite climbing wall is expanding or that you bought new rock shoes or that you found a cool ice-climbing vid on YouTube. No glee is too small -- or too big. Members are encouraged to cheer each other on and share the squee.

I climbed for three hours in the gym in Jacksonville on Wednesday. It was really nice. The place was packed, as you'd expect on the week between holidays. But people were pleasant.

I flashed a new 5.8, and then worked a new 5.10 and an old 5.9. I have a feeling the 5.9 won't be up the next time I go as they are putting new routes up on all the auto-belay walls. But I look forward to the challenges they come up with!
