The Friday post of glee is where you get to tell us about your climbing-related happiness this week.
It can be a new achievement or adventure, or just that you climbed and had fun; it can be that your favourite climbing wall is expanding or that you bought new rock shoes or that you found a cool ice-climbing vid on YouTube. No glee is too small -- or too big. Members are encouraged to cheer each other on and share the squee.
N.B. Please feel free to post your glee on any day of the week; the Friday glee is just to get the ball rolling.
To enhance this week's glee: another excellent slice of Rocklands bouldering filmed by Kevin Takashi Smith.

Date: 2017-08-11 03:27 pm (UTC)I also found a great project to work. I discovered it about half-way through my time at the gym, so I will definitely have to hit it first next time.
I also met the setter. He was manning the desk and asked about my climbing and I commented that I loved the flow of this one route, but I had failed to get past the crux so far.
He was very pleased that I liked it.

Date: 2017-08-11 03:48 pm (UTC)I only get to climb like once a month, maybe. So when I go, I climb until I absolutely can't make it up a 5.5. I take food and lots to drink, and I come home so exhausted I fall right to sleep.
So it's probably less endurance than pure stubbornness!
