Friday glee hopes to live widely

The Friday post of glee is where you get to tell us about your climbing-related happiness this week.

It can be a new achievement or adventure, or just that you climbed and had fun; it can be that your favourite climbing wall is expanding or that you bought new rock shoes or that you found a cool ice-climbing vid on YouTube. No glee is too small -- or too big. Members are encouraged to cheer each other on and share the squee.

New routes! Some of which I can climb! :-)

Also, the person who decked out last week (not someone I know) is expected to make a full recovery.

Glad to hear it on both fronts. Were you there when they decked? It can be quite upsetting seeing someone else get badly hurt.

Still no climbing, but yesterday my former partner Lior was in town and I got to see her for a couple of hours. She looks fantastic. There's a great gym in D.C. and she is now doing 5.11 overhangs. I have deep climbing envy.
