The Friday post of glee is where you get to tell us about your climbing-related happiness this week.
It can be a new achievement or adventure, or just that you climbed and had fun; it can be that your favourite climbing wall is expanding or that you bought new rock shoes or that you found a cool ice-climbing vid on YouTube. No glee is too small -- or too big. Members are encouraged to cheer each other on and share the squee.
N.B. Please feel free to post your glee on any day of the week; the Friday glee is just to get the ball rolling.
To enhance this week's glee: Dave MacLeod does a spot of light bouldering in the rain (note the tactical use of a jacket to keep the final holds dry).

Date: 2016-04-03 09:16 pm (UTC)Then I do 30 minutes on the elliptical machine, and right now at a resistance of level 3. (I started at 1 in February, so I'm slowly moving up.)
I don't know the weights in metric (because I suck at conversion), but I'm going 66 lbs on the pullover, 60 on the arm cross, 78 on the chest press, 34 on the lateral raise, 60 on the overhead press, 64 on the bicep, and 50 on the tricep.
The weight has increased steadily, and there has been a noticeable change in the size of my arms and shoulders with this.
Since I have a bad knee and hip, I don't do any leg machines. I just stick to the elliptical and try to use it to build endurance.
It's boring, but it is making a difference.
