I am making progress on a V3 on the wall I hate most (the slight overhang -- on the more severe overhangs, at least they have to give you semi-decent holds, whereas on this wall, you have the strenuousness of the overhang plus terrible holds).
And I'm making progress breaking in my spare shoes.
And they're re-setting the slab, so when I next go back there will be happy slabby funtiems.
ETA: And I am making progress with my 3W4DW Rock Climbing Post Of Doom!
I have, after two years, gotten back into climbing, so yay!
Not-so-yay: having my ego crumble and shatter into wee bits upon realising that just because I used to do V5s DOESN'T MEAN I CAN STILL DO THEM, and oh, by the way, my fingers refuse to do anything higher than V1. Shatter shatter crumble sad.
But oh, I hear you so much. I was off for five months (in hospital, long and tedious story), and it hurts my heart struggling with things I used to skip up.
