The Friday post of glee is where you get to tell us about your climbing-related happiness this week.

It can be a new achievement or adventure, or just that you climbed and had fun; it can be that your favourite climbing wall is expanding or that you bought new rock shoes or that you found a cool ice-climbing vid on YouTube. No glee is too small -- or too big. Members are encouraged to cheer each other on and share the squee.

I had a serious brain fart yesterday and never got here. Don't know why. But...I went climbing last night and it was good. I also climbed Thursday night. There are new problems to work. We have one setter in the gym who sets things and calls them 5.8+, and then no one who hasn't climbed at least a 5.10 can't get up them. We've told the gym that someone else needs to grade her routes. They're great routes, but she has no bones, just muscle and ligament, and the stuff she thinks is easy - SO not.

Harlow are re-grading. Again! Earlier this year (or perhaps late last year), they decided that all their routes were too hard, and consciously graded the new routes easier. I probably commented on this at the time.

Since getting back from the States, the new routes have felt really hard, which was a bit :(-making. But I gather they've now decided the routes are too easy, so are grading harder again! All very confusing...
