Yep, I'm sure it would. The people I know who are parents, it does seem to have an effect more on the women's spare time than the mans. I thought the article was interesting.
I see both men and women in the gym with their children, and it is very clear that with the men they come in to play with their children. The women come in with older children who are climbing themselves. You don't see women with really young children there.
