Interesting. (The reason I used the plane example is a little weird: I'm an engineer, which basically means I should never get on a plane again, oh god. :) They used the example of airplanes to explain fracture mechanics and how structures fail. By all rights, I should be terrified of flying if I'm wary of heights. So I find it really funny that I still like flying.)
Anyway, I've got no training in psychology, so I didn't mean to generalize it. I'm just not sure if I can say I have a fear of heights when I instinctively crave high places when I need to sort my head and find some calm. That just seems counter-intuitive to me. :/
