My climbing glee was this: Today is the first day of my Christmas vacation. I climbed with Fred this morning, and worked hard on the 5.8 with the damn mantle move in it. Still didn't make it, but I made all the moves up to that SO much stronger than before, I'm massively encouraged. Did two other new routes, a 5.6 and a 5.7 and flashed both. Cool. Best way EVER to start a vacation.
