I unexpectedly went climbing on Sunday! That was the good news.
The bad news is that I can tell that I'm losing strength in the right hand to a much larger degree. Boo-hiss. It totally sucks.
However, I still had fun. The young woman I climbed with has only climbed once before, and it was months ago (with me and another woman), so I reviewed all the commands with her, showed her how to be sure her harness, belay device, and climbing knot and carabiner were all good to go.
She's really strong and had a blast doing it, and wants to go again. So I will definitely be doing more climbing, just not completing very many routes. (grin)
