Friday glee is not a bioloid
The Friday post of glee is where you get to tell us about your climbing-related happiness this week.
It can be a new achievement or adventure, or just that you climbed and had fun; it can be that your favourite climbing wall is expanding or that you bought new rock shoes or that you found a cool ice-climbing vid on YouTube. No glee is too small -- or too big.
Members are encouraged to cheer each other on and share the squee.
In other news, I, for one, welcome our new climbing robot overlords.
N.B. Feel free to post your glee in the comm on any day of the week. The Friday post is just to get the ball rolling.

This will be the first time I've been in what, 3 weeks? Due to a work trip to the US, and then a lurgie. I'm going to have to take it easy, I think :)

And there's this funky video of the comp (SIBL round 5) which the Arch hosted a few weeks back.

(Also, should someone tweet the Arch to tell them that the link here can't be accessed by anyone who isn't on Facebook? *facepalm*)

(just to watch b/c I'm a bit broke this month; and not till later b/c I have this damn book to finish by Monday & I v much doubt that it's all going to be done & dusted by 12 tomorrow. bah.)
But I'd quite like to come watch the later round & see people being awesome!

(Check out the vid in my comment above; it has a bit at the end showing the route of unspeakable evil that Yann set for the men's head-to-head at the end of the SIBL comp.)

But I did climb this week, after having missed it over the weekend because I'd caught the cold from hell and couldn't breathe!

YAY!!!
Isn't it amazing? I've never had that kind of delight from another sports/exercise activity.
Would you consider posting about it? IMHO, posts about first-time experiences can be really helpful and encouraging for other people thinking of trying it.
