Friday glee is not sure about the encouragement
The Friday post of glee is where you get to tell us about your climbing-related happiness this week.
It can be a new achievement or adventure, or just that you climbed and had fun; it can be that your favourite climbing wall is expanding or that you bought new rock shoes or that you found a cool ice-climbing vid on YouTube. No glee is too small -- or too big. Members are encouraged to cheer each other on and share the squee.
N.B. Please feel free to post your glee on any day of the week; the Friday glee is just to get the ball rolling.
To enhance this week's glee: Shauna Coxsey gets her second Font 8B (V13).

I climbed on Sunday, and I was SO stiff at first. My hips, my shoulders and my hands were miserable. But then I started on some easier grades, and my body loosened up and before the end of my two hours of climbing I was back on 5.9s.
Even us old farts can have good days. (grin)

Do you do any yoga? I've found that, especially as I get older, it's critical as body maintenance to stop me from seizing up.

Then I'll usually do some more stretching at the end, especially of my shoulders.
I lack motivation for other things.
See, I find I can be extremely motivated by "this will help me climb better". *g*
