Friday glee has a life goal

The Friday post of glee is where you get to tell us about your climbing-related happiness this week.

It can be a new achievement or adventure, or just that you climbed and had fun; it can be that your favourite climbing wall is expanding or that you bought new rock shoes or that you found a cool ice-climbing vid on YouTube. No glee is too small -- or too big. Members are encouraged to cheer each other on and share the squee.

N.B. Please feel free to post your glee on any day of the week; the Friday glee is just to get the ball rolling.

To enhance this week's glee: Galina Parfenov crushes V11.

I haven't had a chance to go climbing recently because the weather is super blah, and the climbing wall too crowded this time of year. But I've been training on monkey bars and pull-up bars, and on rope netting. So at least when I get back on the wall I won't have to start from scratch.

I have a neat recommendation for pull-up training, in case others are interested in that: It's called pull-up bands. Check it out. They sell them in different widths and strengths. I'm very happy with mine.

I love how suprised she sounds at the end!

This week, I got my Fr6B route that has been eluding me for weeks! It even felt pretty comfortable. Awesome feeling :-)
