*does the dance of glee*
The Friday post of glee is where you get to tell us about your climbing-related happiness this week.
It can be a new achievement or adventure, or just that you climbed and had fun; it can be that your favourite climbing wall is expanding or that you bought new rock shoes or that you found a cool ice-climbing vid on YouTube. No glee is too small -- or too big.
Members are encouraged to cheer each other on and share the squee.
To enhance this week's glee: this fabulous half-hour silent film about Sheffield climbers in the 1940s. Admire the skills and nerve it took to climb with hemp ropes and tricouni-nailed boots! Ogle the beautiful gritstone! Speculate on why the film keeps cutting back to that supercilious-looking ram!

And I'd decided anyway that I really need to work on developing power-endurance, so ...

(Or at least some preliminary playing around to figure out if either of those is even vaguely possible for me.)
I'm really enjoying having big projects right now.

It's not either "I can do it easily" or "I can't do it" -- I can feel that I'm putting my all into it and my effort is making a difference. If that makes sense.
And yay vacation!
