Friday glee loves the gabbro

The Friday post of glee is where you get to tell us about your climbing-related happiness this week.

It can be a new achievement or adventure, or just that you climbed and had fun; it can be that your favourite climbing wall is expanding or that you bought new rock shoes or that you found a cool ice-climbing vid on YouTube. No glee is too small -- or too big. Members are encouraged to cheer each other on and share the squee.

N.B. Please feel free to post your glee on any day of the week; the Friday glee is just to get the ball rolling.

To enhance this week's glee: Dave Mac and Natalie Berry go new-routing on St Kilda, in a clip from his new film Undiscovered.

No climbing joy for this week. DAMN. I had hoped for Sunday, but Pat has a photo shoot for his art, and that has to take precedence.

I will be looking for a day to go climb very, very soon!

None for me this week, but I did my first proper winter trek 2 weeks ago, with ice axe and crampons and everything! The first day was just walking, but in the second day we did a bit of gullies, rocks etc, and the ice axe proved invaluable :D

No climbing for me this week - shoulder muscles still a bit iffy after last week.

But, there is amusing climbing in the new Star Wars :)
