Friday Glee can train while injured

The Friday post of glee is where you get to tell us about your climbing-related happiness this week.

It can be a new achievement or adventure, or just that you climbed and had fun; it can be that your favourite climbing wall is expanding or that you bought new rock shoes or that you found a cool ice-climbing vid on YouTube. No glee is too small -- or too big. Members are encouraged to cheer each other on and share the squee.

N.B. Please feel free to post your glee on any day of the week; the Friday glee is just to get the ball rolling.

To enhance this week's glee: here's Courtney Sanders talking about how she kept training after injuring her ankle.

I have glee because you guys totally had the glee covered while I was away in the lands of minimal internet (meta-glee!).

I have glee because I am back in the lands of broadband and can thus watch all the online climbing videos again.

Also I have glee because I got an outdoor, gritstone V6.

*gritstone envy*

I know what you mean re. online climbing videos. They're very addictive. I love all of this guy's on vimeo: http://vimeo.com/20902983

I went bouldering tonight. Wanted to go toproping but my partner was busy again. Anyway, bouldering was really fun. Even though the route I wanted to work on because only the final part was missing has disappeared since Wednesday.

Whoo-hoo! A V6? Man, I'm impressed.
