Friday glee is all about the foot jams
The Friday post of glee is where you get to tell us about your climbing-related happiness this week.
It can be a new achievement or adventure, or just that you climbed and had fun; it can be that your favourite climbing wall is expanding or that you bought new rock shoes or that you found a cool ice-climbing vid on YouTube. No glee is too small -- or too big. Members are encouraged to cheer each other on and share the squee.
N.B. Please feel free to post your glee on any day of the week; the Friday glee is just to get the ball rolling.
To enhance this week's glee: Te Cuelgas Guey, a roof problem with some truly funky beta.

I even got past two problems I didn't manage all winter, so apparently I haven't lost as much muscle mass as I feared. One is a neat little dyno where I have to reach the far hold with pretty much just the fingertips, and the other one is a relatively small handhold I'm hanging from with my left hand, no footholds, and then have to get my right hand up there as well. I *knew* both were possible, I just could never manage.
I didn't climb too long though, because yo it was hot. That climbing wall with the sand in front of it is like an oven.

Sometimes a break seems to have that effect; I've read a theory that it lets the brain clean up the climbing muscle memories, keep the patterns that work and discard the junk.
