The "time" thing rings very, very true. I haven't climbed for months now, because I'm either on baby-duty or doing paid work :/ I keep meaning to try to arrange more of a System, probably revolving around getting my mum to babysit when she's up here, but it keeps not happening. Bah.

It does, as ever, sadden me though that this is about climbing *mothers*, not climbing *parents*. She's right that statistically more parenting burden falls on women, and she's right that for both partners in most families time becomes heavily squeezed (it's not like my co-parent partner does any climbing either!), but a "confessions of a climbing dad" piece would, if it was of considered interesting enough to publish at all, I think read quite differently :/
