The Gunks! Oh, I miss the Gunks. I climbed there 3 or 4 times when I lived in Baltimore, driving up to meet my brother, who came out from Boston. It's best in the fall, when the apples are in and the mosquitoes are gone.
Do climb High Exposure, if you can: it's a classic 5.7 with a killer crux.
What I miss about the climbing there isn't the cracks, but the way the rock breaks so neatly on those horizontal lines, one after another, all the way to the top. It's just beautiful rock.
