Friday glee still won't tie its shoelaces

The Friday post of glee is where you get to tell us about your climbing-related happiness this week.

It can be a new achievement or adventure, or just that you climbed and had fun; it can be that your favourite climbing wall is expanding or that you bought new rock shoes or that you found a cool ice-climbing vid on YouTube. No glee is too small -- or too big. Members are encouraged to cheer each other on and share the squee.

It's only my second week climbing after being away for 2 weeks, so I was gonna start with a 5.8, but a bunch of the routes had been reset and I didn't like any of the 8s in the area of the gym where my friends were, so I started with a new 5.9 -- and then did a new 5.10A, and then conquered the tall 5.9 that had defeated me last week and then did a tall 5.10A. And finished the night with a 5.10A I cheated a lot on, but I felt fine about that 'cause it was way hard and I was still definitely developing/practicing skills (mostly the weird blocky holds, but also some positioning etc.).

Yay, getting back to my level quickly!

I climbed a fun new corner route in my gym.

Climbed well last night, including 1 5.11a and an attempt on a 5.11b (which I came off of multiple times and had to give up on: it will be a project for me until they change the routes again).
