juliet: Part of a Pollock artwork in the Tate (art - pollock)

After throwing a MASSIVE strop about EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD last night I concluded that a) really too many things to do today to warrant bimbling off to the Arch for a few hours, esp given that b) a competition is probably not the best place to try out one-handed climbing for the first time after 2 months off & being a bit rub in the first place, & c) if I go along just to watch I will get all grumpy at not having been able to have a go.

Next week...

I thought about going & playing one-handed whilst I was still in the splint, but I was worried that I'd fall on my hand and either hurt it further, or break the splint (which would be hard to explain to the physio!). Transport's been hard, too -- I am (against official advice, but screw it) back on the bike now. I'm *definitely* not up to trying to take my bodyweight on that hand right now, but I'll be fine if I fall on it.

Hope the competition is being fun (right now) / was fun (by the time you read this) :)
