That sounds great. There's a really famous Southern sandstone climbing place in Alabama (USA) called Horse Pens. A friend of mine went there recently and said it was amazing because there were essentially no footholds. You had big shelves which you had to mantle and throw your body up on many routes where there was nothing but loose sand along the wall, and no foot placement at all. He loved it.

It sounds scary as the dickens to me!
